Welcome to brandenandkarla.com! Here you’ll find our resumes, some awards we’ve won, some samples of our work, and maybe even a joke or two. (actually, we’ve been called a joke...but we won’t go there) We love what we do and our listeners tell us all the time that they can tell. We work very hard to make it sound like we don’t work very hard. We’re involved with our community and the things that matter to our listeners.
One of the things we’re most proud of is “Branden and Karla’s 60 Hours to Fight Hunger”. We start at Noon on Thursday a week before Thanksgiving, broadcast non-stop until Midnight Saturday night and collect turkeys to feed the hungry on Thanksgiving. We accept all the trimmings for Thanksgiving dinner. We also take cash donations and buy turkeys. Over the past 4 years, we made sure over 6,000 families have sat down to a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
We not only help our community, we get a lot of press. We are involved with the annual 4th of July celebration in Twin Falls and always get a lot of TV coverage.
Our aim is to get involved with things that not only help our community but also our radio station. We seldom pass up an opportunity to “showcase” the station.
